Back after a little hiatus with a minor backlog of great stuff to share with everyone, starting with something a little different for me, and something that I’ve been sitting on without posting for FAR too long….

So, I got to know Alyssa & Nicole last year when we went out with some of their cousins and took family portraits for Mothers Day (over here, if you’re interested), our paths crossed again, and I was super excited to hear that they were training to take part in the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation’s Calgary Cup fitness competition, and wanted a few pictures to show off all of their hard work. We set a date near to the competition, and hooked up at Snap Fitness in Sherwood Park for a little portrait session. Afterwards we hit the gym so the girls could show me what sort of hard work goes into getting bodies like theirs.

The happy ending to their story? They went and had a great time competing down in Calgary, and did very well for first time entrants! Congrats girls!

 

And after we were all done in the gym, I couldn’t resist. I mean, beautiful girls, great studio space, and outstanding natural lighting… why not take a few casual pictures too?
