So, Lindsay & Luke went through one of the hottest days of the spring with me when we shot their engagement photos, and the day their wedding arrives, it was possibly the last truly hot day of the summer, a September scorcher that peaked at 29 degrees after the ceremony. In typical Lindsay & Luke fashion, they weathered it like champs, and on the whole, the day went off without a hitch, and was a great day with family and friends.
The day started at Russo Hair Design with Lindsay & the girls, then it was off to the Sawridge Hotel for the ceremony & reception afterwards. In between, I drug the family down to Kinsmen Park in the river valley for some portraits. The light down there could not have been more beautiful, there was lots of room for the little ones in attendance to run around, and most importantly, it was 4 degrees cooler at the bottom of the hill than it was up on Whyte Ave.
Thanks Lindsay & Luke, and Nixon too, for including me in your day!
