On possibly one of the hottest, most mosquito-filled days of the year, Lindsay, Luke & I went out to take some engagement pictures. Their wedding is coming up in only a few weeks, a beautiful September wedding that I’ve been looking forward to for months and months now.
Now, back to the heat & mosquitos. These two are probably some of the coolest characters I’ve met. Everything I asked of them, they did, not questions asked. A smile, a pose, an idea, even marching off into the deep brush, or lying down in the ferns, they took in stride with a smile and a relaxed pose, and I think this really comes through in the pictures. This is part of why I’m so excited about this wedding. It should be a cool, relaxed, awesome time, with plenty of love, lots of family (especially their two year old son Nixon, who tagged along and was a trooper throughout as well) and an awesome venue.
Our afternoon started at the Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary, the hidden gem of the west end of Edmonton, and ended off in a little park in Leduc, just down the street from their house. Really, aside from the heat and mosquitos, it couldn’t have been a better time. Here’s a few pictures.
