Sadly, no Hugh Grant in sight. It is, however, personal story #2.
Easter long-weekend was a terrifically busy one for my family. My sister Jodi and brother-in-law Cary were in town with their three kids to celebrate Easter with our family. Coincidentally, both Cary and Ashlyn (my niece) were celebrating their birthdays, Cary on Saturday and Ashlyn a day later. This is the photographic story of that weekend.
Many board games were played. Daymond seems to have an unnatural skill with dice.
Games of the Wii variety were also played. The Bernath children were again displaying uncanny ability and concentration.
Ryland also has skills related to face-contortion. This is only the first of many such displays meant to frighten and intimidate.
My lovely wife, in all her pregnant glory. I do love the quality of light in my mother’s living room.
This is birthday #1. Cary, a gracefully aging and well experienced twenty five year old.
The next day, the egg hunt began!
Ryland Scary Face #2. Clearly the problem is genetic.
And quite obvious which side of the family it originates on.
Finally, birthday #2. Ashlyn is a twenty five year old in training. About twenty years of training.
Finally, Ryalnd #3. Can’t keep a good face under wraps for long.
